The bonuses from Arctic Nutrition have ensured that my standard of living has not become worse after retiring, but instead, it is considerably better than it was when I was in full-time employment.

Now, in 2017, it’s easy to look back to the beginning of my story. And it’s been great to see how my life has changed with Arctic Nutrition. Fortunately, I can still remember my previous life. So where did it all begin? I first heard about the field through my daughter, Elina. She was affiliated with another company, and when she finally dared to tell me about it, I responded really bluntly that if she should end up in debt, I won’t be able to help her out.
And so it happened, that after this rather embarrassing start, I became more acquainted with the field of referral marketing, and I noticed that it was a great way of helping people.
In 2004, I was 55, when I became acquainted with Arctic Nutrition. By that point, I had been working in the finance department of various companies for 32 years, and before I joined Arctic Nutrition, I received a notification in the mail about my future pension: 1064 EUR, minus taxes. I mentioned this sum during the short presentation, wondering if it was possible to earn some extra alongside this small pension. I was told that if I do as advised, it’s possible.
That was the beginning of my Arctic Nutrition journey. At first, I organised well-being evenings at home, and I attended all training events, perhaps partly because I wanted to make sure it really works.
It had been seven months since I started, and it was like I was still waiting for something. Then, Juha Mandelin asked what on earth I was still waiting for. That was a wake-up moment for me, and I can now sincerely say that it was fortunate.

I was an independent representative alongside my day job for eight years and then became eligible for an old age pension. My final pension sum was calculated at 1 365 EUR. At the age of 57, I established my own business, called Sunshine Living.
This has been an amazing time.
At the age of 55, I wrote down my life goals for the first time ever, and I remember having to read them aloud at a training event: by the time I got to the third line, I was already crying my eyes out. Now, it’s very easy to say that all of the goals from that list have been achieved. There have been plenty of new goals along the way, and I’ve noticed that you really have to be careful what you wish for, as they all seem to be coming true!
I've worked by doing the basics, studying and by keeping an open mind. It’s easy to smile now, as I have so many amazing people on my team, with whom we have been on this wonderful journey. . In November, when my husband, Matti, died, it was great to see what kind of a support network this Arctic family really is.
I’m proud and happy that Arctic Nutrition has come into my life. Without you there in the office, I don’t know where I’d be. Maybe teaching crocheting techniques somewhere. Maybe.
Oh, and one more thing. How did that extra income in retirement go? I made it happen. The bonuses from Arctic Nutrition have ensured that my standard of living has not become worse after retiring, but instead, it is considerably better than it was when I was in full-time employment.
Onwards and upwards. By now, I need expert help in making goals. Awesome!
